We’re so excited to welcome you to Fukuoka for our wedding! To help make your trip smooth and affordable, we’ve put together a few tips and suggestions for booking flights.

  • You can fly directly to Fukuoka Airport (FUK) from Manila via:

  • Cebu Pacific

  • Philippine Airlines

  • Jeju Air (usually with a short layover)

  • Jetstar Japan (usually with a short layover)

Here are some sample routes often used by our international guests:

  • From Los Angeles / Las Vegas – Most flights connect via Tokyo, Seoul, or Taipei

  • From London – Common layovers include Tokyo (Narita or Haneda), Seoul (Incheon), or Doha

  • From Australia – Fly via Tokyo, Osaka, or Seoul, then take a connecting flight to Fukuoka

To catch good prices, we suggest setting price alerts through these trusted sites:

🔔 You can create a price alert on Google Flights by entering “Manila to Fukuoka,” your planned flight dates, and toggling “Track prices.”

Our wedding is on November 26, 2026, and we’ll be hosting a Welcome Dinner on November 25 for titos, titas, and early arrivals—so we recommend arriving in Fukuoka by November 24 or earlier if possible.

The wedding will be on Thursday, November 26, followed by the After Party right after the reception. We’ll also be hosting a Welcome Dinner on November 25 for the titos, titas, and their little ones — so we recommend arriving in Fukuoka on or before November 24 to join in all the fun! ✈️

If you’d like to come a little earlier to explore and enjoy Fukuoka, traveling between November 20–23 is also a great idea. We’ll already be there during that week and plan to meet up with everyone who arrives early — perfect for sightseeing, café hopping, and making memories before the wedding festivities officially begin! 💛

Fukuoka in late November is crisp, cozy, and wrapped in golden autumn leaves—an unforgettable setting for our special day. With average temperatures ranging from 8°C to 17°C, expect cool mornings and evenings balanced by comfortably mild afternoons. To help you stay warm, stylish, and camera-ready, here’s a list of what to bring for your trip.
  • Warm outerwear – Bring a medium to thick coat, puffer jacket, or lined blazer

  • Layerable outfits – Long sleeves, sweaters, thermals, or heattech base layers

  • Scarf, gloves & beanie – Great for cooler mornings and evenings

  • Comfortable walking shoes – Perfect for sightseeing, markets, and temple visits

  • Foldable umbrella or light raincoat – November may have occasional light showers

Our ceremony and reception will both be held indoors at Lalachance Hakata no Mori, so you can dress comfortably without worrying about outdoor conditions. That said, we recommend bringing a nice coat or wrap for travel to and from the venue - there will be a cloack room available where you can leave your outerwear during the celebration. See our Attire section for full outfit suggestions and inspiration.

  • Portable power bank

  • Pocket Wi-Fi or travel e-SIM

  • Toiletries & skincare – November air can be dry

  • Reusable shopping bag – Some stores charge for plastic bags

  • Valid passport – With at least 6 months before expiry

  • Japan tourist visa – Required for Philippine passport holders

  • Flight and hotel information – Printed or saved digitally

  • Cash in yen – Japan still relies heavily on cash, especially for transport and small shops

  • IC Train card (Suica, ICOCA, etc.) – For trains, convenience stores, and vending machines

  • Gcash/GoTyme/PayMaya VISA or Mastercard – These can work in Japan for some ATMs and card terminals, especially at larger stores and restaurants. Always bring a physical card version. You can order one using these guides: GCash - GoTyme - PayMaya

  • Travel adapter – Japan uses Type A plugs, 100V

  • Medications – In original packaging; bring a doctor’s note if necessary

  • Travel insurance – Optional but highly recommended
